We are stoked to report another sold-out screening of The Message of the Lyrebird.

Brunswick Valley Landcare hosted the full house event at Brunswick Picture House on Wednesday 15 November 2023, which began an amazing run of two screenings in two nights across the Northern Rivers (New South Wales).

Lyrebird was the last of three films in the Brunswick Valley Landcare fundraising film festival, which supported native tree plantings, habitat restoration and bush regeneration projects across the Byron Bay Shire..

On Thursday 16 November, there was a large and vibrant crowd who joined the Richmond Landcare screening in Lismore's oldest theatre, the Star Court Theatre. The rousing reception was followed by a Q&A session with director, Mark Pearce and local rehabilitation expert, Iain Stych. The film event was sponsored by the Australian government initiative, Inspiring Australia and part of Richmond Landcare reactivating Northen Rivers Science Hub.

Thanks to both of our incredible communities for turning up to make the screenings very memorable and special, and of course the wonderful humans at Richmond Landcare Inc, Northern Rivers Science Hub as well as Brunswick Valley Landcare.
