200 tickets sold out for the Burang Landcare fundraising screening at Maleny Community Centre on Thursday October 20th.

Barung Landcare posted a message on their Facebook page after the screening of The Message of the Lyrebird.

"Thank you to everyone who came to our fundraising screening of The Message of the Lyrebird last night at the Maleny Community Centre. It was so wonderful to see people from all generations joining us to share the film and some discussions afterwards with Aunty Beverly Hand and Creative Producer Mark Pearce (Balangara Films) along with some wonderful local organisations doing great things for the environment!
Thank you Aunty Bev and Mark for sharing your insights and wisdom, and to Hinterland Bush Links, Mooloolah River Landcare, Sunshine Coast Environment Council, Birdlife Sunshine Coast and Backyards for Biodiversity SEQ Inc for sharing a bit about what you do with us all!

All funds raised from the evening will be going towards restoring our local rainforests."

For over 30 years, Barung Landcare has brought together people committed to sustaining and caring for the magnificent natural environment along the Blackall Range and surrounds. https://barunglandcare.org.au
